Hi there, I’m Apoorva. I am an artist that is proficient at making clay figurines and digital artwork.
I’ve always been interested in art; I used to paint with my dad as a kid and make origami in my free time. One year ago, I decided to turn my passion into a full-time profession, and you’re seeing the fruits of that labour here.
But let’s back up a bit. I went to college to study software engineering, and worked at IBM for over five years as a QA engineer. While I enjoyed that work tremendously, I wanted to do something that involved art, and that’s how Craftsea came to be.
I decided to dive into art full-time, starting out with selling clay figurines on my store, and working on pixel and voxel art, product photography, and digital illustrations at the same time. My product shots are routinely featured on Android Central, one of the largest Android-related sites in the world.
I love playing video games, and having grown up in the ’90s, I’m inherently drawn to pixel art. That’s why you’ll see a lot of pixel-related motifs in my work.
Oh, and if you’re interested, do take a look at my store.
Aside from art, gaming continues to be something that excites me a lot. I enjoy games like Stardew Valley a lot, and more recently I’ve been playing Valorant.
